We strongly recommend that Aerodyne ICON container sizes I1, I2 and I3 are not used until further notice from the manufacturer.
This recommendation follows a recent accident involving a total malfunction on an Aerodyne ICON container. Preliminary findings by British Skydiving (BS) suggest there may be a potential issue affecting these container sizes.
As of 14/04/2026, Aerodyne Research has not issued any official bulletin or grounding regarding these containers.
We advise all jumpers to exercise caution and stay informed until further information is available.
