BEACH BOOGIE 2006

36 swoopers joined this years Beach Boogie. More than 900 hop’n pop jumps were done above the beautiful Empuriabrava beach. Not even the river Muga, one of the worlds biggest swoop ponds, will forget this land, swoop, freestyle, and splash event, organised by Skydive Empuriabrava and the Safe Flight School Empuriabrava.

 

For some, the standard freestyle moves seemed to be too easy and participants with an average of 4500 jumps were tended to try new stuff with more or less success. “Blind man cowboys” were seen as well as Jeffro landing 360º linetwists. PD Factory Team’s Ian Bobo, Jay Moledski and Jonathan Tagle travelled all the way from the US to offer finest coaching and showing the worlds best swooping. All participants were surprised how much one could learn during a week of intensive training. From “first water touches” to most incredible freestyle everybody from 500 to 16.000 jumps enjoyed this unique event.
